Our approach
Most call-outs aren’t a mystery once you’re looking at the actual door — a lock that sticks, spins or won’t throw usually has a specific, identifiable cause. We start every job by working out what that cause is, rather than defaulting to the most expensive fix. Sometimes that means adjusting a keep. Sometimes it means a new cylinder. Sometimes the mechanism really has failed and needs replacing — and when that’s the case, we say so and explain why.This matters most when you’re not able to check our work yourself — landlords instructing a lock change from a distance, or anyone calling in an emergency who just needs the door dealt with. Clear explanation before work starts isn’t a slogan for us, it’s the actual sequence: assess, explain, then act.
